Rene is a true chess enthusiast and patron of the game.  He learned to play chess at 10 and forgot all about the game completely.  It was not until high school did he began to study the game exclusively.

Rene was was born in Honduras and in 1987, he emigrated to the U.S.  He is 24 years old and is a proud Bridgeport resident.
